"There's always some basal action potential at the motor end plate, it's like the neuron telling the muscle 'I'm here' "
—Physiology, MSK
The most beautiful quote of the year, I'd say
Having Resp end of module exam then the Patho OSPE within 24 hours of each other, THEN posting Resp grades the day before our Anatomy OSPE should be illegal btw
كلية تعلمك شلون تحيي غيرك بإنها تحاول تقتل كل ما في مليون مرة وتشوف، هل تقدر تحيي نفسك مليون مرة قبل لا تصير كفو إنك تحيي الآخرين😄
I remember I wrote once:
When someone asks: "Do you love them?"
People tend to answer with: "What's there not to love?"
(It's a common phrase)
But I know, that there's so much not to love in us flawed humans..
So, I choose to respond with: "There's so much to love."
There's so much to love that it overshadows everything else;
There's so much to love in someone who you can see wholly,
So how can you possibly not love someone who's that true?
إللي نتعلمه من ريسب أهو إن
Pressure is not a luxury that just turns graphite into diamonds
It's a necessity that keeps us alive
أتوقع عقب ريسب ماراح أقدر أتحلطم عن أي ضغط بالدنيا..
I was wondering why Resp was seemingly more difficult than the previous module, and I just realized that in Resp we need to correlate BOTH circulation and airway systems (which the autonomic system has opposite effects on sometimes) and my mind is still struggling to do that.
I'm already having dreams about the V/Q graph.
And we thought Cardio was hard;
At least with Cardio it was just the blood circulation!
Resp adds a whole other layer to it all😮💨
Still, what a blessing it is, to be able to slowly add on our knowledge of the human body and realize it like this..
All of that, and still:
{وما أوتيتم من العلم إلا قليلاً}

(Guess what anatomical structure was being described here🤣)
