@lostndaworld1 The issue isn't solely about Black people. Regarding the point you raised, in any country in the world, you'll find people studying Egyptian history perhaps even more than their own country's history. Even in Europe and America, there's no racism against Black people here.
@Jimmy082464732@ashanti_42840 Egyptians today are the same as ancient Egyptians, and you should know that the Kushite civilization was separate from Egypt. While Egypt did have trade with Somalia, this does not mean that Somalis are of Egyptian origin.
@cxcxxxx45@ELI32427007@ashanti_42840 This is not entirely true. I have read about the Mali civilization in West Africa and ancient cities in Nigeria, and of course East Africa has an ancient history.
@ELI32427007@ashanti_42840 EGYPT AND SUB SAHARAN AFRICA HAVE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CIVILISATION , THEY ARE ON THE SAME CONTINENT THOUGH
IS LIKE COMPARING CHINESE CULTURE WITH INDIAN, THEY ARE ON THE SAME CONTINUENT BUT WIDLY DIFFERNT
@Sihle175958@ashanti_42840 I'm Egyptian and I want to tell you something. The Nubians are a people who live along the Nile in southern Egypt and northern Sudan, not just Egypt. They had a strong, separate civilization, more closely linked to Sudan than Egypt, and they even had a separate language.
@Cherry0Reese@ashanti_42840 Slaves building the pyramids was disproven by archaeologists. The myth comes from biblical narratives and assumptions by greek historians that came thousands of years later
@Cherry0Reese@ashanti_42840 The pyramid builders were Egyptian wage laborers, and there are remains of their living quarters and burial sites, as well as evidence of their wages, including that they were given meat and beer.
Her denying her African ancestry but claiming Egypt proves that it's West/Central Africa they're ashamed of, they have no problem claiming a North African civilization that was more closer to the Mediterranean & has never been heavily demonized the way sub-saharan Africa was.
