With it being Tower's 30th anniversary, it is shocking just how bad of a state @WaltDisneyWorld is continuing to let it run in.

@MickeyBlog_ The speaker it is playing out is actually meant for the spark sounds. You are only recently hearing this as they got that speaker repaired in July. The spark sounds are what is playing from the inner drop shaft speaker currently, they need swapped back to the correct speakers.

@MickeyBlog_ A bit late to seeing this post, but this is actually a side effect of some audio channels being linked to incorrect speakers. This sound effect has been on the ride since 2003, but it's supposed to play from the inner drop shaft speaker. (1/2)

It doesn't make sense to me how they can make good changes on one side while completely butchering the other side (making the projections even worse).

There have been a few improvements to Foxtrot side this week. The drop shaft lift/VVC floor strobes that flash at the end of the drop sequence is now functional again after they stopped working in late 2022.

There's still no update with the lightning bolt strobes in either drop shaft though, not sure what's holding them up from finishing and re-enabling it.

Unfortunately, the one livestream that I was going to share on here to show this was made private, so I will have to wait until someone else gets a video on Foxtrot side or livestreams on it next.

The drop sequence delay between the audio and motion is now only ~1.5 seconds, the smallest it's ever been since the mid-2010's. While this is still not ideal (no delay), it's more acceptable than the near 3 second delay it had previously.

The window projection in show shaft Alpha is now extra bright too. Why are they actively making the projections even worse than they already were?

No one should ever have to experience Tower of Terror like this. I really hope this was just a temporary glitch, because no one should ever have a ride experience like this.

This was from Tower today. I didn't think it was possible, but the bar was lowered even more. I have no words. (Show shaft Bravo)

-Ghost projection is still messed up, as well as not turning off afterwards and the screen not retracting
-Lightning bolts and window light didn't work in corridor scene
-Many issues in the 5th Dimension such as the eyeball/starfield doors
-Lower Horton/outside doors not opening

@WDWNT I really hope you can sometime bring light to the many show effect issues at Tower of Terror. I would argue it is just as bad as the lighting issues in EPCOT, and more people need to know just how bad of a condition the ride's effects have gotten. https://t.co/DaI6PQqYT8

More projector woes from the 3rd. The ghost projection in show shaft Bravo is projecting with it letterboxed, making it squished vertically. It's also now way too bright. I'm genuinely speechless on how they can make the projections somehow more worse looking.

Update for this weekend. I don't have a good photo yet (as the floor strobes do not work on Foxtrot side), but they are putting in the lightning bolt panels on Foxtrot side currently. It is still disabled on Echo side and the front cover panels haven't been put on yet.

An interesting development I noticed from a stream today, it seems like they took off the front covers for the lightning bolt strobe enclosures in the drop shaft, are they finally going to put new strobe tubes in them?

Another update from today, the rest of the lightning bolt panels have been put back on Echo side besides the main front covers. Everything is still gone on Foxtrot side. It will probably be enabled again on Echo side once they get all of the front covers back on.

@sonoma150 Unfortunately, as someone who only visits once a year, effects like those are hard to tell from videos. The air canons have been a 50/50 on if they are working or not recently from what I have heard by others.
