@richardgalaxia@Imm05M Exactly right! If we do not get corporate money out of politics, we will cease to be a country within my lifetime, and I'm pretty old.
@debra727leo@richardgalaxia Tariffs, except in very specific circumstances, are bad for economy and bad for the country putting on the tariffs. Even when tariffs were popular, around 150 years ago, everyone knew that you do not tax component goods. Trump is just not very smart or well educated.
@amyactonoh The GOP has seemingly embraced pedophilia, rape, and cruelty is acceptable and cruelty. MAGA is not so much a political party as a club for morally depraved people.
@GOPzilla3@blondina_winter He continuously lies and has made our defenses vulnerable.
I would be surprised if you are actually doing better under Trump. Covid had a bad impact on a lot of businesses but this environment is so unpredictable that I see companies having difficulty making choices or plans.
@GOPzilla3@blondina_winter Well, Trump is not a Republican. He supports tariffs, large government, and unitary rule. He puts his thumb on the corporate scale, unleashes the military on his own country, and has an affinity for dictators. He also tests the constitution to the breaking point.
@KeithBa22086886@jillrbeattie@johnrockshomes To clarify, you believe that Trump, who has made hundreds of millions of dollars off his presidency, is there for the working man? Does that really sound right when you think about it?
@HubrisnxsBrian@realSashaBella I don't believe that Mississippi will go blue before Iowa. My kind of weird theory is that Southern Evangelicals turned the Midwest red and so the Midwest needs to revert before the South does.
@HubrisnxsBrian@realSashaBella Go to Votehub. Please understand that early voting IS NOT RELIABLE. But right now the Dems are doing great.
Favored in AL, GA, NH, ME, MI, OH, NC, TX.
GOP IN IA, KS, NE.
I hust listed the states in play.
@GOPzilla3@blondina_winter Your mother and I should meet. I stopped voting Republican in 2012. But now I have seen that none of these Republicans have any backbone or moral compass. I don't think I'm going to ever be able to vote Republican again.
@GOPzilla3@blondina_winter I was a Republican until 2012 when our future president Trump decided to rally around that horribly racist birther movement. It is very possible to be a a Republican who will never vote Republican again.
@JBalz55876@JamesSurowiecki@BlackLabelAdvsr Hmmm... the day that Texas decided women's bodies belong to the government is the day you you gave up the ability to claim libertarianism
@SamsKba@realSashaBella It is very risky to make a lot of assumptions based upon early voting. However, having said that, if you wanted to rely upon early voting the Republicans are being utterly destroyed.
@TMerk4343@realSashaBella I have taken this kind of talk very seriously for a good chunk of my Sunday morning, and honestly I see nothing substantiating this claim
