The Touchback is the most exciting play in football. It's also basically the most exciting website in sports and culture. #thetouchback#takeitbacktothe25
2) These are inflated numbers from the same people who promote stadium scams in a bid to get public funding. These are fantasy, like saying my YouTube channel is watched by millions of people. It’s kind of sort of true but also grossly inaccurate.
Hey @DrLukeWood if you want to mislead people do a better job.
1) The fee isn’t covered by students but what about everything else that comes along with FBS football? There is a reason why schools are drowning in football related debt. Noticed you say entrance fee only.
Key points on SAC to the MAC 🏈
1. Entrance fee paid by game guarantees, and other football revenue. Football is paying for football. No student fees and no general fund.
2. An estimated economic impact of 975M and national broadcast value of 675M over the next five years.
3. Sac State games now to be on ESPN and CBS Sports. And… we will be in EA NCAA video game.🎮
4. We will generate revenue that will help academics, 15% of new net revenue to go towards offering more classes, beginning 2027.
4) This is just a pipe dream. Like saying, “I can win the lotto.”
Here’s a bonus one for you: You demand students live on campus but can’t even put a football stadium there for them. Better yet, why not let them vote on if they want this move or not?
@wikipuff88 The arena developer is the fake company headed by the shady brother of Sac State’s president. I’m guessing it goes about as well as that new on-campus stadium.
Sacramento Republic FC announced a new 90s fauxback jersey with Tower Bridge gold being the primary color. The problem? Tower Bridge wasn't painted gold until 2002. So much for that 90s inspiration. Maybe next time use actual Sacramento soccer history.
Apparently, the A's and Sacramento have small poles. Just when you thought things couldn't get more embarrassing, another low is reached. The Kings once lost 43-straight road games, and that seems less sad by comparison. Hey, at least we all know pole envy is real. Thanks, MLB.
Hey, Oakland & East Bay. I'm working on an upcoming video covering stadiums around the region and want to interview four or five A's/Roots/Soul/Ballers/Warriors/Cal/Raiders/Invaders/etc. fans or anyone connected with the teams. Reach out if interested.
Did the Minnesota Twins once consider relocating to Sacramento?
In the mid-1990s, the Minnesota state government identified Sacramento as a likely relocation destination for the Twins. I don't remember ever hearing anything on this.

The #NFLDraft went from 20 dudes smoking cigs and picking players they'd never seen in a hotel ballroom to an event loved by millions. A big reason why was moments like the "Oh No" heard around football.

With everyone focusing on John Fisher, let's remember it takes two to do this dance. Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive has blood on his hands in the theft of the Oakland A's. And it is the latest dumb decision from sport's dumbest owner.
