A faith based project in Bradford. We seek to increase mutual understanding, strengthen community relationships and nurture healing and reconciliation.
Trauma, past and present, can have wide ranging effects on how we feel about ourselves, our relationships and the world around us.
We offer a confidential supportive space where you can meet with a counsellor or listener to talk about issues that might be troubling you.
We believe counselling should be available to everyone and therefore, operate a sliding-scale contribution scheme based on income and what is affordable for you.

Huge thanks to Carol and Paul Barrett from @RSPBEngland who came to speak to us today - we made bug hotels and left inspired to make simple but effective changes to our gardens/outside spaces that will help to protect nature and wildlife. #careforcreation#rspb_love_nature
We had a really lovely first session of our ‘Whose Bag is it Anyway’ project today, where we are learning about what different faiths teach about caring for creation and considering how we can act together to combat environmental breakdown #interfaith

Great to welcome back Barbara Glasson and Penny Johnson to Touchstone today for the launch of their book, “Writing the Wisdom: Creative Writing as Healing from Childhood Trauma”, based on their “Creative Writing for Wellbeing” workshops with women survivors of childhood abuse.
Huge thanks to the @TheVCSAlliance and the ‘Act as One Ageing Well Programme’ for presenting us with this award for ‘Outstanding Community Development Work’ at a special awards ceremony today - for our work supporting isolated and vulnerable people during the pandemic. #Bradford
Bradford - a place where people from different faiths come together in creative ways to form deep friendships that recognise and celebrate their shared humanity 💜 #Bradford2025#CityofCulture2025#interfaith#friendship
We had a wonderful time at our community celebration today, celebrating #Eid and the #Jubilee at our ‘Tea Party with a Desi Twist’! It was lovely both to see old friends and to see new friendships forming, over the consumption of a lot of cake of course!! #interfaith#teaparty
We were able to share how this project brought together women from different faiths to form deep and genuine friendships, which became a huge support for them during such a difficult time. Huge thanks to Shaeron and Anna for inviting us to be part of a really lovely event.
It was an honour to speak at the book launch of ‘Everyday Sacrament: Visual Meditations in an Age of Pandemic’, by artist Shaeron Caton Rose and Anna Bland, from @leedssanctuary. One of the meditations is based on a project we ran with Shaeron, during lockdown, ‘Together Apart’.
Such a joy to host this women’s interfaith iftar at Touchstone yesterday evening. We talked, laughed, prayed and shared a meal together- surely the cornerstones of building and deepening friendships! Thank you all for a beautiful evening #Ramadan#iftar#interfaith#friendship
This is beautiful! Thank you for much for taking part, we cannot wait to put all of these sections together to create a new banner for Bradford! #IWD2022#BreakTheBias#BDMCIWD@bradfordmdc
