Our President and CEO, Paul Baay, had the opportunity to walk Minister Moonilal through the site and showcase the progress being made as we continue to invest in the country’s energy future.

We’re thrilled to announce first gas has been safely delivered from the Mento development, a 50/50 joint venture between bp and EOG Resources Trinidad (EOG), with EOG as the operator.
Mento is one of the 10 major projects scheduled to start up before 2027 and our second start up in the region just this year – plus, it aligns with our strategy, as we grow our upstream business.
