After 16 great years, @bccancerfdn is ending the Tour de Cure. Rising costs, declining revenue & climate events such as heat, smoke & rain led to this difficult decision. Over $131M raised for cancer research—thank you to our community. #BCCancer https://t.co/mvO6O8zBTb
Find our dedicated volunteers at the finish line of day 1 of the @TourdeCureBC—they'll be giving away exclusive commemorative towels. Don’t miss your chance to grab one! 🚴♂️💪 #TourdeCureBC@bccancerfdn@BCCancer

Just one more sleep! A friendly reminder of tomorrow’s early start times: - 6am: Rider check-in and packet pick-up open - 7am: Opening ceremonies begin - 7:25am: The epic ride begins! See you tomorrow at Shannon Hall, Cloverdale, bright and early! 🚴
With rain in the forecast, make sure to take extra caution on the road. 🌧️ Watch your speed, avoid quick turns or sudden braking, keep a safe distance between riders, and steer clear of puddles. Also, make sure your bike has a light, wear bright colours and pack a light jacket!
Next weekend, keep an eye out for Riders wearing golden armbands. These individuals are cancer survivors or may even be undergoing treatment. Give them an extra cheer when you see them! 💙
The largest cycling fundraiser for cancer research and care in B.C. is meaningful, heartfelt, inspiring — and fun. Made even more so by the creative costumes that you wouldn’t expect from your average cyclist! https://t.co/0WIvXnb3rO
