Ever tried chipping off the toe to kill ball speed? You should... Maybe you should even try a two foot long grip on your wedges.
Chad Darby dropped some incredible short game wisdom that’s helped us — and it’ll help you too!

Weeks 4-6 Recap: The Swing Change
Week 4 I went to the doctor to check out my shoulder issue, which was diagnoses as a shoulder impingement. Got some treatment and started doing exercises.
Knew I wasn't going to feel good for a while, so I decided to focus on making a change to my swing which would help by speed: better pressure shift. I did this by overexaggerating the move in slo-mo and then faster.
I felt mostly better by end of Week 6 but didn't get to practice as much as I wanted because my 2nd son was born. Week 7 I'm back to chasing.

Weeks 2-3 Recap: The Injury
Day 1 of Week 2 I sat down at my desk at 7 AM. I was planning to workout and do speed training later in the day. At 730 AM I started feeling shooting pains through my neck and back and couldn’t keep my head up. Even when lying down I was in significant pain, which made it hard to sleep and stay asleep. In order to work, I would alternate sitting at my desk for 10 min and lying down for 10 min.
It was like this for a week, till I saw my doctor and was diagnosed with muscle spasms. Muscle relaxers helped me feel good enough to exist again and do PT. At the end of the week, she did OMT on my back/neck twice, which loosened everything up well and I could work like normal. I still couldn’t swing a club at full speed and my neck was still a little unstable.
Additionally, my left shoulder was hurting and I had a loss of mobility, so I was referred to an orthopedic.
I didn’t really get to practice or workout much, but it gave me a clear gameplan: for the next couple weeks I would focus on swing mechanics, especially pressure shift/sequencing. Then I would get back to doing speed when I felt healthy.
Bc of the injury, there is a several week gap between the videos and the current day. I will catch us up over the next few weeks.

Just as a soccer team strategizes its formation, ensuring the right players are on the field and others are benched, your golf bag should be meticulously organized for optimal performance. Every club in your bag has a specific role, understanding this can elevate your game to new heights.

Week 1 Recap:
Worked out MWF at 5 AM using FFG
Tuesday and Thursday 5 AM Stack
Tuesday and Thursday 8 PM 30+ drivers
Didn’t do Saturday stack or drivers due to fatigue
Max CHS improved to 120.8
Takeaway - I was gassed by end of the week. Felt like I was back in college. Also was not getting much sleep. emailed @Fit_For_Golf towards the middle and he recommended I reduce the swinging load (do either Stack or drivers) and do those right before I workout so I have 48 hours of recovery

These "professionals" at Valspar are killing me this weekend. How am I supposed to complain about the bad attitude of these junior players when these men are acting like 3 year-olds?
Equipment matters… TGL spent tens of millions of dollars, and the wrong launch monitor caused a glitch for the world to see. Only choose the best @ForesightSports
