@elonmusk Since this family of protocols is infinitely large we can take it as stipulated that we will find a few that are more environmentally responsible. The higher order question is what would you store with a global resource storage protocol?
@elonmusk The family of economically secured leaderless distributed consensus protocols constitutes a family of global resource storage protocols. Proof-of-work is just the first in an infinite family of such protocols.
@elonmusk Please look more deeply at RChain as a solution to the problems with Blockchain that were clearly identified by the heroic efforts of BTC and ETH. RChain already delivers what no other blockchain delivers: as you add hardware it scales nearly linearly.
@elonmusk Please go a little deeper in your investigations of crypto solutions. Think of proof-of-work as like the http 1.0 of global resource protocols. Http 1.0’s value was largely an existence proof: this is what you can do with a global resource access protocol.
