π± Compost Extract Success!
Our new Multi 1000 owner, Dag from Norway extracted biology from compost sufficient for 5.5 Ha with 1000 L (β 180 L/Ha) β extract was ready in just 5 minutes!
π Microbiometer results:
β’ Old method: 5 Β΅g/g (after dilution)
β’ New method: 8.9 Β΅g/g, and todayβs batch reached 16.9 Β΅g/ml using 20 L compost / 1000 L water π₯
πΎ Helping the Neighbours & Building Better Soils πΎ
A Tow and fert owner recently helped a neighbouring arable farmer by applying a mix of:
π 180 Kg/Ha of fine particle lime
π 10 L/Ha of Beneficial Anaerobic Microbes
π 10 L/Ha of liquid humates
Applied over a cover crop dominated by volunteer oats (after an oat crop with straw chopped), this blend helps buffer acidity created during residue breakdown and gives soil biology a boost before the next crop.
Did you know we're trialing 6 biological inputs across Welsh farms in real-world situations to help farmers make informed decisions on their use?
