FLOOD WATCH EXTENDED! Heavy rain & melt mean increased flood risk in low-lying areas. The public is urged to exercise caution and avoid all watercourses, especially for the safety of children and pets. #FloodWatch
Rising water levels and increased flow in waterways due to rainfall and melting snow has led to flooding and road closures in Dufferin and nearby areas.
See our Flooding Prevention and Recovery Guide https://t.co/Bd8OqftO3r and well water testing info https://t.co/wLXuLECrXE
Due to winds exceeding 60km per hour over the coming days, visibility will be reduced at times due to blowing snow. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Slow down when driving, watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
