A strong recommendation letter can be key to securing a scholarship. And the best one usually comes from a lecturer who knows you well, has taught you, and can genuinely speak about your abilities.

That relationship should start long before you need a recommendation letter. When you’re in class, show yourself. Participate, ask questions, work hard, and let your lecturer know you.

Lecturers naturally remember excellent and committed students. Build that relationship now, not when the scholarship deadline is tomorrow. 🎓

This is important! Some scholarships have graduation-year, age, or career-stage restrictions. That’s why starting early matters. But if you graduated years ago, don’t panic, because many opportunities have no such restriction. Find the ones that fit your profile and apply strategically.

was a graduate then, at this hostel opposite goodwill rentals, got into a discussion with a friend in final year. he asked how i was navigating life after school, i talked about a lot of things but sounded like nothing in my head, but he sort of felt relieved and we just joked around it.

a year later i won erasmus, a year after i did, he’s won it too🥂
