Create Community: It’s Time to Build Together

Just finished #WaterGlassing a total of 165 eggs that will last for up to 2 years. Altogether, I now have about 26 dozen eggs (309 total)!
And guess what? I managed all of this while watching @MightyNetwork’s #PeopleMagicSummit with @ginab and the current speaker, saying "TEACH ME, HELP ME, INSPIRE ME, and SHOW ME!" - @AmandaMGoetz
The #1 takeaway I’m getting from this summit is that you don’t need a ton of content to launch your community.
With that realization, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be relaunching The Preparedness Awareness Community Academy (@TPACAco) on January 1, 2025, because now I have a clear vision for how I’m going to do it.
Thank you, Mighty Network!
If you're a solopreneur like me, don’t hesitate—build up the courage to just go for it.
Four years ago, I took that leap. But I learned one important lesson: don’t make the community about yourself and what you want—make it about serving others.
Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
The People Magic Summit is all about building communities that uplift others, and I encourage you to dive in.
You don’t need to watch live—every session will be available for you later using the links I’m sharing. I urge you to check them out, as you’ll feel motivated, everything will start to click, and you’ll be inspired by the powerful testimonies shared.
When you’re ready to take that next step and build your own community, use the link below—it supports my mission of Preparedness Awareness!

Happy National Preparedness Month.
The following information is a summary of key points from https://t.co/UQVVc3RhcH for National Preparedness Month. These are not my own words, but rather an overview of the images and messages provided by the official campaign.
September is National Preparedness Month, a critical time to remind ourselves of the importance of being prepared for emergencies and disasters. While resources from National Preparedness Month and https://t.co/UQVVc3RhcH are available throughout the year, this year's focus is on empowering Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities, ensuring that everyone has the tools needed to build resilience before disaster strikes.
2024 Theme: 'Start a Conversation'
Discussing potential disasters or emergencies may be challenging, but it's a necessary step toward ensuring safety. Begin the conversation with your loved ones today and start taking steps toward preparedness. Simple actions, such as setting aside time for calm discussions and sharing the steps you've already taken, can make a significant difference.
To assist in this effort, preparedness toolkits are available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, and more. These toolkits contain graphics, publications, and messaging that you can share with your community.
This fall, stay tuned for a new PSA campaign from Ready and the Ad Council. This campaign will feature broadcast and graphic materials aimed at further spreading the message of preparedness. Let's come together to ensure that everyone is ready for whatever may come.
