@vinicius_snrr One bucket has a sticker and it fck ur mind. Its just one and its left on table when he starts playing with ball the uses it for the last shuffle.
Kibaki was President for 10 years.
He introduced Free Primary Education.
Millions of children got free books, pens and classrooms.
But did you ever see him moving from school to school, launching books for cameras?
Did you ever see endless convoys sent to commission pencils and desks?
No.
Today, William Ruto finds the Last Mile electricity project already underway, and then turns electricity poles into national events.
Helicopters. Convoys. Road closures.
Millions spent moving around the country launching poles that taxpayers already paid for.
That is the difference between leadership and PR politics.
Kibaki understood one thing:
When you genuinely improve people’s lives, people will remember you without forcing publicity down their throats.
And that is exactly why, years later, Kenyans still talk about Kibaki’s projects with respect.
Not because he branded everything with his name.
But because people felt the impact.
Meanwhile, today, every presidential tour burns millions while ordinary Kenyans are being crushed by taxes, fuel prices, and the high cost of living.
President Obama on Iran: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked and we didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz”
I want every Kenyan seeing this to tweet:
REJECT FUEL PRICES.
REJECT FUEL PRICES
Don’t stay silent while the cost of food, transport and electricity is being pushed beyond reach.
A Sh46 diesel increase will hurt every family in Kenya.
The biggest scam ever sold to Kenyans was convincing them that Uhuru was the worst president.
Uhuru faced COVID and the Russia-Ukraine war.
Fuel still never reached these levels.
Ruto spent years attacking him over fuel prices, even asking why fuel in Uganda was cheaper.
Today, Ruto is the President.
One Middle East conflict begins, and diesel is now heading toward KSh242.
The same people who screamed “failed leadership” back then are now giving us excuses.
I have been watching Kenyans celebrate the new State House pictures as if it were some national achievement. Don't we remember Mobutu & others?
Some are even passionately arguing over whether it is beautiful.
This is exactly how populations get manipulated by power.
One thing history teaches you is this:
The most brutal regimes on earth were OBSESSED with spectacle, luxury, giant events, and image-building while citizens suffered underneath.
Mobutu Sese Seko did exactly this in Zaire (Congo).
He built extravagant palaces so massive that world leaders and visitors would marvel at them, just as some Kenyans are admiring the State House today.
Then came the grand distractions.
In 1974, Mobutu hosted the legendary “Rumble in the Jungle”, Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman, plus the huge Zaire 74 music festival with global Black superstars.
The entire world was entertained.
Africa was dazzled.
People praised the image of greatness.
Meanwhile, corruption, collapse, and suffering were growing quietly underneath the spectacle.
Another famous example?
Adolf Hitler and the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
Massive stadiums.
Perfect choreography.
Military parades.
Nationalistic imagery.
Carefully scripted propaganda designed to make Germany look powerful, disciplined, and unstoppable.
History has shown this pattern again and again:
When governments want citizens emotionally attached to appearances, they flood them with spectacle.
That is why I find the State House obsession disturbing.
You are being trained to admire buildings while your cost of living rises.
To celebrate elite summits while hospitals struggle.
To debate decorations while unemployment destroys young people.
Tell me honestly:
How does a beautiful State House improve your life?
Will it lower unga prices?
Will it pay your rent?
Will it create jobs?
Will it reduce taxes?
Will it help struggling families survive?
A hungry citizen admiring chandeliers in the State House is exactly how political theatre succeeds.
And sadly, many don’t even realize it.
