Tping is live in beta. Try it and tell us what you think. π¬

Built on Flipcash's open-source protocol as an independent project.

Think about who made your last trip better.
The housekeeper who left your room spotless. ποΈ
The bellhop who carried your bags. π§³
The concierge who found you that last-minute table. ποΈ
Most of the time, they get a quick "thanks." Tping lets you show it.

This is just the beginning.
We're building toward a world where tipping is as natural as a smile. At the front desk, at your table, anywhere gratitude happens.
More ways to thank. More places to use it. Stay tuned. π

Tping v2 is here. βοΈ
A rebuilt app, a new wallet, and one simple idea: saying thank you should take seconds, not effort.
Gratitude, sent instantly. π§΅

Ownership + Chat is going to be insanely powerful. Itβs the key tool we were missing at Kik. Building it became a 10 year side quest. But we have it now. And itβs going to be amazing.
Converting community currencies on @flipcash is about to go from 40 seconds, to less than 1.
So incredibly grateful that we went with Solana all those years ago. The team and community are incredible. @toly@rajgokal you guys are the ππ
Iβve been testing the new @flipcash Group feature, and I think thereβs something bigger here than just adding group chats.
I remember when the team rolled out flipchat so seeing where the product is today is probably what impressed me the most.
The new group experience is simple.
> Creating a group is straightforward.
> Joining one is straightforward.
Moving around the app doesnβt feel complicated. But what really caught my attention is the ability to create communities around token ownership.
A group can require you to hold a certain amount of a token before you can join.
Youβre not paying to enter.
You simply hold the required amount.
Iβve been testing this through the @moonycoin, @Tping_me group so far the experience has been really smooth.
And I think this has an interesting implication for crypto communities.
A lot of group chats eventually become noisy bots, spam, people joining just to shill something, and conversations getting completely diluted.
Having a simple ownership requirement could give communities another way to create a more intentional space.
But I also think this is where Flipcash has an opportunity to go even further.
The product already makes it easy to create the community. Now Iβd love to see more tools around running the community.
Things like better admin controls, moderation tools, pinned messages, community discovery, maybe even richer ways for communities to reward their members.
Because if Flipcash gets the community layer right, this becomes more than just another place to chat.
It becomes a place where holding, talking, sending and participating can happen together.
And this is probably the part I appreciate most about the Flipcash team.
The founder @ted_livingston has talked about how much of the product has come from learning through previous experiences 18+ years of building and learning and I think you can see that iteration in the product.
The improvement is real.
Iβm still testing Groups, so this isnβt a βfinal verdict.β
But if you use Flipcash, Iβd genuinely recommend playing around with the new Groups feature and forming your own opinion.
Iβm curious to see what the team builds on top of this next.

None of this means Tping is connected to the SEC's stock exemption, or that we're a Coinbase product. We're not.
We just sit on the same underlying rail: Flipcash β USDF β Coinbase.
Worth understanding before we show you what we're building on top of it. More soon.

Before we talk more about Tping, some context worth understanding.
Two separate things are happening right now:
β Coinbase is powering the stablecoin behind Flipcash
β The SEC just opened a path for tokenized stocks to trade onchain
Neither is about Tping directly. Both shape the ground we're building on.

The connective thread: onchain markets β whether it's tokenized equities or community currencies β all need an onchain dollar to actually settle in.
Coinbase is positioning itself as that settlement layer. USDF is one small, real example of it already working.
Someone made your day better today.
The barista who remembered your order.
The stranger who held the door.
Your niece, who you haven't seen in two years.
You wanted to say thanks.
You just didn't have a way to do it.
