@TheRealFounding@honorablesaint@Footballtweet Yes, it actually did. Either sound out the big words until you figure them out or find a responsible ten year old to read it and explain it in a way you can understand.
@LogicIllustrat@ElBlanco3006@coleheggi@ChrisMartzWX I don’t pay property taxes? Bitch, I pay more property taxes than you claim to.
And clearly I’m more informed than someone who is crying about things that aren’t even paid with property taxes.
If you can’t afford $7000 the failure is on you, not the government.
@LogicIllustrat@coleheggi@ChrisMartzWX That link doesn’t support your claim that my local government pays for the things you claimed with property taxes. Try harder.
@LogicIllustrat@coleheggi@ChrisMartzWX Weird…..my local government doesn’t provide any of the things you’re whining about.
Without property taxes how do you propose funding Fire/EMS? Because most local governments receive the overwhelming majority of their revenue from property taxes.
@WorldFullofJunk@ChrisMartzWX The reason for arguing for the property tax model is because it works. If the subscription model worked it wouldn’t have essentially died off decades ago in all but the most rural areas.
@WorldFullofJunk@ChrisMartzWX My house is larger than my neighbors. It will require more resources to extinguish than theirs, thus I should pay more than them. If I use more water than them I expect to pay a higher water bill as well.
You got another argument or are you going to stick to that one?
