Today, students submitted a letter to the Board of Trustees in support of a three-year continuance for Wrestling and Swim & Dive.

This isn’t just about sports.
It’s about opportunity, community, and honoring the commitments made to student-athletes.

These programs develop leaders, strengthen campus life, and reflect the mission CBU was built on.

We’re asking for a seat at the table and a path forward.

@Cornell_Kevins Also I’ve been to several seeding meetings in my day. They never ask when a win occurs, or how you win, so all of that is a moot point.

@Cornell_Kevins Your whole original post was about his loss and why it proved he didn’t deserve his rank. If you count that loss, then you have to count his ranked win (last I checked rankings went to 33).

And so if you say “guys” have 5x his ranked wins, someone would have to have 15. Logic

@Cornell_Kevins You said “ranked wins”. Layton in Flo and Coaches Poll. Counts towards allocations as well, so 3 ranked wins. Semantics aside I understand bias can get in the way of logic, but to say a guy never deserved to be ranked that high after being undefeated is conceptually flawed.

Bloods boiling watching this. Citing that other teams on campus compete in team-issued uniforms is laughable. Easy to do when you know your program will exist next year. Crazy move to hear they’re upset with losing opps to compete, by threatening to take away more opps to compete
