This week, all classes were introduced to myHappymind. They began their myHappymind journey meeting the characters for each module and they all received their new journal which they will use during each myHappymind lesson.#myhappymind
The children had a great morning of triathlon delivered by @Trikidz1 yesterday morning. A big thank you to the team for inspiring all our children to take up a new sport.
We had another busy week in Forest School last week! The children learnt about everything from fire safety to cooking to autumnal wreath making to science investigations to tying knots to weaving to making maps to measuring worms!
It has been a very wet week in Forest School, but that never stops our children making plenty of memories in the great outdoors! Plenty of puddle jumping, knot practise and site jobs #ForestSchool
Mrs Regan, Ava and Josh (our transition ambassadors) had a lovely morning visiting the yr6s at @TPS1914 - they asked some fantastic questions! Look forward to welcoming you to our open evening on 5th October. #TeamMillfield#BeExceptional
Two pupils from @TPS1914 entered our recent Illustration Comp' following #CareerConversation with @helen_shoesmith. Their fabulous entries were so highly commended, we sent across a few of Helen's books which she'd kindly gifted to pass on to outstanding pupils like K' and B'. 😊
Yesterday, Rowan Class have enjoyed a trip to UCLAN, to take part in a range of activities and interactive shows relating to the many different aspects of science. The children really enjoyed the whole experience, meeting and talking to scientists!
From foraging to spotting the signs of spring, science investigations to identifying species of trees, there's been all sorts of learning in Forest School this week!#forestschool#outdoorlearning
Some brilliant coding work going on in Beech Class! The children have learnt about how easy it is to create 'fake news'. This has taught them about the dangers associated with believing everything you read online #computing
The children in Sycamore Class had a wonderful visit last week to the Crucial Crew event in Fleetwood where they took part in a wide range of activities where they learnt about keeping themselves safe. As always, our children represented our school fantastically well.
