@TPTCommunity The trust is also working to rescue the Old Ship Inn at Cawsand, rebuilding it as a community-owned pub and café with flats for affordable rent above.

@TPTCommunity The Peninsula Trust, a local community led organisation, came to us with plans to buy and renovate three council-owned coastguard cottages in Cawsand village and then let them to local families at an affordable rent.

It's due to be turned into flats and community facilities, like a café and heritage centre.
Our new leader, Julian German, is in Cawsand this morning to hear about a community led initiative we're supporting to transform empty properties into affordable homes for local people.

The Ship is now in community ownership - Thank you to everyone that has supported the project, it has taken a little longer to purchase that we had hoped but now we can start to re-build for the community and beyond!!!
