Measles cases are up in England with 900 cases already and 2 deaths since Jan 2026.
As well as protection against measles, mumps and rubella, children under 6 will now be offered protection against chickenpox (Varicella) with the MMRV vaccine.

Although it is uncommon, children who have recently had chickenpox are more vulnerable to forms of Group A Strep.
⚠️ Remain vigilant for symptoms such as a persistent high fever, skin infections & joint pain or swelling, & seek medical advice immediately if you have any concerns.
