@LeviStraussCo and Jacob Davis received a U.S. patent for riveting pockets and blue jeans were born.

From workwear then to style staple today, blue jeans are one of the most enduring garments in the world.

It’s the largest @LEVIS jacket in the US. The latest example of @LEVIS as art features a denim trucker worn by one of three Native American models. The stunning mural spans 170,000 square feet across the Maumee River in Toledo, Ohio.

75 years ago this month @LEVIS made its runway debut in Paris in the first all-American fashion show.

Twins Pat and Priscilla Emery wore overalls, not evening gowns. “It was the most terrific fashion show that Paris has seen,” described a 1947 report.

Timolin Burdick and her mother, Barbara Hunter Kepon, visited the #Archives in 2014 to see the @LEVIS Barbara found as a teenager. Timolin returned with her husband and a photo of her mom who passed away to share during her latest visit.
