@NurseStandard Wow. They still are not practical. Not enough pockets for A&E nurses and have seen much nicer scrubs I.e FIGs are more practical and sensible
@fesshole I agree.
Just because they’re on good money doesn’t mean they pay over the odd. Two way responsibility. some Fathers pay over the odds via CSA. Their own living expenses are not taken into account.
@NurseStandard Us on long days. Do 3 long days x 3 weeks then one week at 4 long days. No way do I ever want to be working four days a week every week. Be it 7.5 hours a day or 11.5 hours a day!! Not many of us want to be at work 4-5 days a week for 8 hour shifts.

@DavidRathband @CarolUHS I have to say. Being being on the receiving end of family faced with a palliative diagnosis then an acute episode turning into sudden EOL. ITU we’re our families saviour ensuring mums last 40 minutes of life being pain free and comfortable! ⭐️ to @YSTeachingNHS ICU/outreach team
@sarah_aslannnn Each to their own. I physically and mentally prefer 3-4 days at 12 hour shifts in A&E instead of 5-9 days in a run of lates and earlies.
