During Awareness Week, the PTEP team reached out to the transgender community of District Kamber Shahdadkot for advocating health & hygiene practices in order to prevent the contraction of trachoma. Hygiene and Cleanliness kits were also distributed.

The Tele-trachoma service, in a short period of time, has benefited several underprivileged TT Patients of district Kamber Shahdadkot.

Mrs. Murada, one of the TT patients, was operated at District Health Quarter (DHQ) through tele trachoma service.

SIOVS in partnership with CBM under PTEP Project has constructed 214 wash facilities in 98 schools of Kamber Shahdadkot. The objective was to ensure the availability of wash facilities so that students can adopt hygiene practices, which can prevent them from Trachoma Disease.
