@atiqur2904@ToobitCanada FOMO and revenge trading are the same trap. One says the market owes you the move you missed, the other says it owes you your money back. What would you put in its place once it’s uninstalled?
@RyansPitch@dhesi_trades@mialovelyihgux6 Logging is the step that makes the loss real before your next click. How do you set the downsize: a fixed percent, or half your normal size?
@BullsCorner Logging is the step most people skip, and it might be the one that matters most. Writing the loss down forces you to look at it before your next click. How do you set the downsize: a fixed percent, or half your normal size?
Honest post, and the fact that you admitted it says a lot. Luck saved you this time, but a rule only counts if it works on the days luck doesn’t show up. What’s one rule you could set now that blocks the next revenge order before you place it?
If you’d rather keep it warmer and shorter, this works too: “Glad you got lucky, and even more glad you’re holding yourself to your rules. 🙏”
@yoshiretails@astucefx Revenge trading turns a 1% loss into a 10% hole real quick.
It never feels like a big decision. It feels like “just one more to get it back.”
A forced timeout after a loss is the cheapest risk rule you’ll ever follow.
@neomfunded@CRTwithSaint That’s exactly why challenge spending needs its own risk limit. Buying another account shouldn’t be the revenge trade after losing the last one.
A reset fee is still a trade, just one with no stop attached.
@ftm97_@Sabbir_Aurora8@agenticscredit Agreed, and the timeout works because the urge peaks right after the loss and fades if you don’t feed it. What’s your rule for stepping away: a set number of losses, or a set amount of time?
@ftm97_@Sabbir_Aurora8@agenticscredit When things get choppy, the urge to win it back is louder than any rule you wrote on a calm day.
A forced timeout is usually the only thing that kills it. Close the platform and let the urge pass.
Practice that timeout on UpsideOnly, where your savings aren’t on the line.
It probably feels like the next trade is your chance to get back to where you were.
You might be thinking, “I’d never revenge trade.”
I failed more futures evals this week, so I know how fast that thought can change.
That’s how a $100 loss becomes a $500 mistake.
What would change if the lesson never came out of your savings?
UpsideOnly gives you live markets and real decisions with none of your money at risk. Try it before your next trade.
@21stdv@BlueGuardiancom@FTMarketslive Okay, now that the week is done, let me tell you how it went. IMPORTANT LESSON AT THE END OF THIS POST!! For futures, I failed some more evals and couldn't get funded again. For CFDs, I had 3 x $100Ks with 3 different props
Friday went well, and now you feel a little invincible.
That feeling is nice. It is also when size starts to creep, because a good day makes a bigger trade feel earned.
The fix is simple: your size comes from your plan, not from how last week felt.
Our coach counts your own trades, so a creeping size shows up as a number instead of a hunch.
Before the open, write your max size for today next to the date.

@0xgodzubby@Brave_josh1@Techriztm “It sounds like you almost gave up on trading, and then found a teacher and a path that finally fit. Coming back after years of blown accounts takes real patience. What’s been the biggest change in how you trade since you started the class?”
@THORKELL_X “It sounds like the loss wasn’t really about the market, it was about the pressure that came with that account. And now that the pressure is gone, your trades are showing what you can do when you’re calm. What would it take to bring that same calm into the next account?”
@jc_futures_ It seems like the rules were never the problem, it’s the moment after the second red trade. What do you want to do differently in that 15 minutes?
@OludeleOluwase8@wannabechamp It seems like the hard part was choosing the smaller risk while you were still hoping for the big win. How did you make yourself do it?
@L2WTrades That’s the gap I care about. Our NEPP AI Coach shows where your own trades break your own rules. Want to try it free for 30 days? https://t.co/m0s8Wa5iVJ
