I got tired of breaking my own trading rules. So I built something to keep me accountable.

If you need excitement from trading, you're going to manufacture opportunities that don't exist.
The market is not entertainment.
Boredom is part of the job...
If your only goal is to make money trading, eventually you'll ask:
"Is this worth it?"
After enough losses, the answer might be no.
But if trading is a vehicle for something bigger...
You have a reason to keep driving.
The best trading journal doesn't explain what happened.
It discovers what keeps happening.
Which setups make money?
Which market conditions hurt them?
Where do you exit too early?
Where do losses become abnormal?
A journal should become a database, not just a diary.
How you start your day matters.
Wake up.
Scroll for an hour.
Skip the gym.
Eat shit.
Sit in front of the charts.
Then wonder why you can't control your impulses.
Your trading session doesn't start when you open the charts.
Know your why.
If your only reason for trading is money, you'll struggle to stay disciplined.
You need something bigger than the P&L.
A reason to get up.
A reason to keep going.
A reason to follow your rules when nobody is watching.
Build a why that makes discipline inevitable
The real flex isn't posting your winning trade.
It's closing the laptop because there was no setup.
Go touch some grass, speak to your loved ones, start working on a side hustle, learn a new language, read a book - real life exists outside of trading.
You don't need to catch every move.
You need to stop taking the moves that aren't yours.
OWN YOUR STRATEGY.
Stop teasing yourself with strategies that simply aren't yours.
You will never be consistent if you're constantly dipping your toes into muddy water.
Know your edge.
The goal isn't to become someone who never loses.
That's impossible.
The goal is to become someone who doesn't lose control when they do.
You skip the journal.
Be honest with yourself.
Your actions are telling you what you actually value.
Go to the gym.
Read.
Eat properly.
Sleep properly.
Keep your promises.
Do the things you said you'd do.
Then watch what happens to your trading.
Discipline doesn't stay in one area of your life.
It spreads.
Your rules don't matter on the days they're easy to follow.
They matter on the days every emotion tells you to ignore them.
That's when discipline is built.
You need a reason to keep going that has nothing to do with today's P&L.
Because some days you'll win.
Some days you'll lose.
Some days you'll question everything.
Your purpose has to survive all three.
You don't have a trading problem.
You have a discipline problem.
You already know your rules.
You just keep negotiating with them when you're emotional.
