Big news for IPO watchers: You can now bid to buy shares in a company before it goes public — and get in at the initial offering price.
Access to IPOs has historically been reserved for the ultra-rich, but now it’s for all Canadians who trade at Wealthsimple. One word of caution: while IPOs are exciting, they also can be risky. Going public doesn’t guarantee a company will be successful, so make sure you do your research before investing.
Note: IPO access is currently only available via web, but we'll be rolling out mobile access soon. Learn more about IPO access here.
@TITAN_TradingCA@pizdets17 I debated between the two but the simplicity of wealthsimple, plus the cashback on transferring accounts, is what sold me. Easily make recurring investments, $0 commission on everything, 24/5 trading, plus futures trading that was just added!
@pizdets17 Did the same a year ago and only wish I would’ve done it sooner. Interest on all accounts, unlimited 2% cashback credit card and their customer service is also fantastic when have had issues. Transfer during a bonus period I’ve seen up to 3% cashback when transferring!
$F delivering a massive EPS beat while the rest of Detroit is still figuring out how to not lose money.
$0.66 vs $0.18 est. Revenue also smoked it.
The Blue Oval is cooking. Maybe the “EV bloodbath” narrative was a bit premature.
An early peek at our brilliant team working on the Universal Electric Vehicle project - one of the most audacious and important projects in @Ford's history. American innovation is how we compete and win against China and the rest of the world.
➡️ The team is spending countless hours getting every last drop of aero efficiency on the mid-size electric pickup.
➡️ The best part is no part, but the second-best part is one that serves multiple functions.
➡️ A Ford team member working on the front end of a prototype - one of the hundreds of prototypes the team has designed and developed to shape the face of the truck over the last few years.
➡️ Ford will use large unicastings for the first time on the Universal EV Platform. The radically simplified aluminum unicastings condense over 146 parts into 2 and enable the assembly tree method at the Louisville Assembly Plant.
Can't wait to share more!
@AlexanderGlista Chinese EVs are amazing, but there is no brand here in Canada that can compete with this. I’ve been in multiple XPENG’s and you’re getting Mercedes like quality interiors and finishes for that price. It’d cause chaos in the automotive space and lead to mass layoffs/bankruptcy.
