I’ve just launched my Threads account! 🧵
I’ll be sharing insights on systematic trading, backtesting, and algorithmic strategies there.
⚠️ Quick heads-up: The content on my Threads will be entirely in Ukrainian. So if you read/understand Ukrainian or just want to support my journey — you’re more than welcome to join!

What this blog will be about: My strategies and useful resources – Real market statistics – Guides: how to properly test your idea and deeply analyze the backtest results (so as not to pour it all into reality) Looking forward to meeting you! Write in the comments who trades — by hand or do you also look at the algorithm? 👇
Hello everyone! Glad to see you here. 🤝 I've been trading for over 3.5 years. I started, like most people, with Smart Money and crypto. However, I quickly switched to Forex, where I realized that for me, math and statistics work much better than intuition. For the last three years, I've been trading exclusively with statistical setups. And for the last 10 months, I've been actively coding: creating my own strategies, software for high-quality backtesting, and launching algorithmic bots.
Still trading. Over the past two weeks, I’ve taken 6 trades: 2 tp, 3 sl, and one still open since yesterday’s NY session.
Slowly recovering after a 7-trade losing streak — starting to feel confident in my setup again and getting back into rhythm.
Been a bit quiet here the past two weeks — busy with work, travel, and relocating.
Back to posting actively starting today.
Wishing everyone strong setups and clean trades ahead.
Monthly recap:
20 trades
11 wins / 9 losses
Win rate: 55%
+13% account growth
The last 3 trading days brought 5 losses — highlighting the natural variance in a system with a known edge.
Currently in a 6-trade drawdown, which aligns with the historical max for my setup.
Nothing unexpected.
In trading, it’s not about avoiding losses — it’s about managing them, trusting your stats, and executing consistently.
On to the next month — focused and steady.
The lessons learnt in my own journal are invaluable.
This is why i preach, you will always be your own best mentor.
You learn most from consistently studying yourself.
This weekend, I took time to disconnect, visiting a waterfall and a quiet lake to reset.
Surrounded by mountains and reflecting waters, I stepped away from the charts, cleared my mind, and regained focus.
In trading, just like in life, knowing when to pause is key to long-term performance.
Today wasn’t easy.
First trade stopped out — by just 1 pip. Second one never got triggered.
Frustrating? A bit.
But when you zoom out and look at the overall performance of the setup, these losses are nothing compared to the edge it provides over time.
It’s part of the game.
Discipline > emotions.
System first — always.
Working in silence — literally.
I’ve been spending the past few months in Vietnam.
Palm trees, warm ocean, and minimal noise — both around and inside.
It’s easier to hear yourself and the market when the external world quiets down.
Remote work gave me exactly what I needed: time to reset, reorganize my thinking, and refine my system.
The market isn’t about emotions — it’s about discipline, focus, and precise execution. Everything else is just noise.
Daily Report – April 24, 2025
Today was a solid reminder that not every trade needs to be perfect to produce a net positive result.
• Took two positions on EUR/USD based on my strategy
• One resulted in a loss, the other — covered it and delivered profit, finishing the day with +1RR.
• Execution was clean, bias stayed intact, and risk was controlled.
What matters most is not the outcome of a single trade, but the discipline to follow the system over time.
Focus stays sharp.
What to expect from this account moving forward
After taking time to reassess my goals and refine my trading strategy, I’ve decided to return to this platform with a clear purpose.
From now on, I’ll be sharing:
• Trading setups — My current positions, entry/exit points, and reasoning behind the trades.
• Performance analysis — Honest breakdowns of both profitable and losing trades.
• Mindset & discipline — Thoughts on trading psychology, decision-making, and long-term consistency.
• Occasional lifestyle content — Just enough to show the person behind the charts.
This account is no longer just a personal feed — it’s a professional log of growth, experience, and market insights.
Thank you for being here.
Let’s move forward with focus and intention.
Now that I’m back, I want to make this space more structured and valuable for me and you.
