Biggest mistake us humans make, is not realizing opportunities come everyday, we tend to rush into things instead.
You missed one? You move onto the next. Looking back will only make you miss what is right ahead.
I say this in the most sincere way.
A lot of you need a fucking long break from social media.
The emotion circulating on Twitter to not a lot happening in the market is utterly absurd.
There's doom posting, depression, tones of passive aggressiveness, frustration, and fuck all is happening.
Stop fucking yourself over by overallocating, overrisking, trying to win lotto tickets in the trenches.
Too many people in a depressive gambling mindset where you're just pissing away money trying to hit a homerun in the trenches while bleeding your portfolio out while BTC remains completely unphased.
We're entering one of the most prosperous periods in history for crypto and you're literally being a depressed shitbag spending all your day on Twitter complaining and chucking your money into the shitpits.
Sort yourselves out.
Unless someone or something is a scam, I’ve never understood why people get so upset because someone else has a differing opinion.
It’s literally how the market works. It’s all a proprietary blend of buyers, sellers and sidelinooors.
Perspective wise, you get to click buttons and potentially make millions from nothing.
Stop crying.
It's in these moments, where the market is feeling heavy that your mind will be racing into what lies in store.
The Defensive mindset:
You're overleveraged.
You haven't taken profit on higher price point entries.
You'd rather leave the positions untouched because "what if."
You've added too aggressively to spot positions.
You'll be nervous, worried about the potential for downside, unsure how deep it will be and your positions are under threat.
The outcome here is you're likely to lose money, potentially panic close spot positions and usually freeze up during more aggressive selling as you're just hoping it stops.
Your focus becomes watching red candles thinking "oh shit oh shit they all said we were going higher!"
Your unrealised PnL plummets and your impulses close your positions down.
The Attacking mindset:
You're aware a larger sell off may be brewing in the market.
You've cleared some risk on leveraged positions, especially from very recent entries.
You know that even if you're wrong there's still opportunity if the market doesn't sell off aggressively to reposition long.
You are psychologically prepared that your unrealised PnL may take a hit and your portfolio won't be at the same level it was 24 hours ago but this is all short-term.
You have ammunition ready to strengthen your positions and holdings if the market gives a sell off.
You welcome a sell off as opportunity.
You are prepared, anticipatory and can action opportunity the market provides.
Be attacking. Make the necessary changes to ensure sell offs don't leave you panicking and freezing up.
Switch the mindset to realise opportunity and the ability to secure some great entries and additions to your bags.
Understand the psychological aspect to a sell off, not just the visual one.
A very important concept to learn and comprehend.
ATTACK THE MARKET.
The secret to making generational wealth in a bull market is pretty straight forward, it just requires some mental dexterity and a pair of nuts
- bid the days we giga nuke in an uptrend with decent size
- hold onto winners; compound them on flash crashes
- stop trading 1min timeframes. Theres a common theme amongst the highest performing traders on the leaderboard: they aren’t scalpers
- use derivatives profits to buy spot positions
- just buy the brand new, shiny coins released within the last 12 months. Apart from a select few, buying older coins will net you minimal gains compared to these newer ones.
- going forward buy all of the coins being listed on binance
@IamNomad Can't blame them nomad, no GF, forced to spend profit to get a prostitute tonight, think a bit about how hard it is for them, nobody will love them 🥲
Today, I stepped down as CEO of Binance. Admittedly, it was not easy to let go emotionally. But I know it is the right thing to do. I made mistakes, and I must take responsibility. This is best for our community, for Binance, and for myself.
Binance is no longer a baby. It is time for me to let it walk and run. I know Binance will continue to grow and excel with the deep bench it has.
I’m pleased to announce that @_RichardTeng, our now former Global Head of Regional Markets, has been named the new CEO of Binance today.
Richard is a highly qualified leader and, with over three decades of financial services and regulatory experience, he will navigate the company through its next period of growth. He will ensure Binance delivers on our next phase of security, transparency, compliance, and growth.
Prior to joining Binance, Richard was CEO of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM); Chief Regulatory Officer of the Singapore Exchange (SGX); and Director of Corporate Finance in the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
With Richard and the entire team, I’m confident that the best days for @Binance and the crypto industry lay ahead.
As a shareholder and former CEO with historical knowledge of our company, I will remain available to the team to consult as needed, consistent with the framework set out in our U.S. agency resolutions.
What’s next for me?
I will take a break first. I have not had a single day of real (phone off) break for the last 6 and half years.
After that, my current thinking is I will probably do some passive investing, being a minority token/shareholder in startups in areas of blockchain/Web3/DeFi, AI and biotech. I am happy that I will finally have more time to spend looking at DeFi.
I can’t see myself being a CEO driving a startup again. I am content being an one-shot (lucky) entrepreneur. Should there be listeners, I may be open to being a coach/mentor to a small number of upcoming entrepreneurs, privately. If for nothing else, I can at least tell them what not to do.
On that note, I am proud to point out that in our resolutions with the U.S. agencies they:
- do not allege that Binance misappropriated any user funds, and
- do not allege that Binance engaged in any market manipulation.
Funds are SAFU!
With that, I look forward to seeing the new leadership take the reins. Please join me in congratulating Richard on his well-deserved promotion.
Onwards!
CZ
Thank you for providing a platform where traders could degen to their hearts content, catapulting retail adoption of this market, and all the iconic one liners and memes over the years.

I always wondered why some people shit on others for being unable to call up or down on the market.
Stop trying to be a fortune teller and join the momentum. Much easier to ride the wave than predict it in advance.
Didn't short a single coin on the way down. Also haven't bought any dip yet. I know the kind of market I do well in, and this isn't it... It's ok to sit on them hands.
> Easy mode is over
> You didn't take full advantage of easy mode when it was here cause; overtrading.
> Now that easy mode is over you'll overtrade as if it's still here.
Flawed thought process in not being able to think big enough during expanding periods, and thinking too big in times where price is contracting.
>Made $0 on the frog coin
>Don't care
>No FOMO
>Not in a rush to fade
Simply observing the unbridled degeneracy.
This market always provides opportunities, you don't have to be in every single one.
