@oliverburdick Church is good. It can provide spiritual nourishment, and it's good to listen to someone who can decipher the Bible. The Bible is complex, and it's great to read alone, but some aspects are challenging to understand. Without the church, you're only starving yourself.
@LumenX_ Yes, because we must be living sacrifices to God, not as "repayment for sins" but rather gratitude for the forgiveness and grace he has given.
@Vitus_oss Thank you Jesus, your grace is sufficient; we are all like the criminals who were beside you. We can either deny you or accept our sin, for which we deserve death. As the thief on the right side of you said to Jesus, "Remember me in your kingdom," you gave him grace and new life
@SkyVirginSon Amen, but please, there should be enough of these posts. We don't need to be guilt-tripped. Jesus knows we love him. This engagement farming is not cool.
@gatorgar Come on Sunday, bring a Bible if you have one, and listen. You can talk to some people, but you don't have to if you don't want to. A simple "good morning" is fine. I recently started going back to church after years of dormancy. The Holy Spirit guides you 😊
