Something I try to do at the end of every month is look back at the price action and identify every A+ setup that occurred according to my system.
As you can see below, August only provided 6 A+ setups based on my strategy.
Once I’ve identified the best setups of the month, I compare them with my own journal. Which ones did I take? Which ones did I miss? And did I take trades that didn’t meet my criteria?
This gives me a much clearer picture of how well I actually executed my system.
Reviewing the trades you took is important, but reviewing the trades you should have taken adds another valuable layer to the process.✍️
Gm everyone!
-1R on yesterday’s short. Win or lose, the goal is to show up the next day with the same neutral mindset. Yesterday’s result shouldn’t influence today’s decisions.
Let’s see what today brings!
$BTC Looking for a short scalp on this Sunday, targeting the local low. Still expecting more upside the coming week, so I will close the hole position at the take-profit order.
Why you'll rarely see indicators on my charts.
When I started developing my trading approach, I realized I wanted to understand why price was moving rather than wait for an indicator to tell me what already happened.
So I started focusing on the chart itself.
Structure > Liquidity > Key levels > Reactions > Confirmation.
Overtime these became the foundation of how I read the market.
I don't believe indicators are inherently bad, and plenty of traders use them successfully. They simply don't fit the way I want to trade.
I prefer a clean chart and one simple question:
What is price actually telling me?

Happy Sunday everyone!
Time to journal the past week, identify what needs improvement, and make that the main focus heading into the new week.
Small adjustments each week add up over time.
$BTC update.
Keeping an eye out for lower timeframe reversals within this zone.
If price manages to break through the current resistance, I’m expecting a push towards the ~$67.5K level before potentially reversing lower again.
Whether we get that push first or not, my overall expectation remains the same: lower prices.
