Today's banter today only a trader would understand:
(After stopping out of a stock only to see it rally hard)
Trader 1: No crying in the casino
Trader 2: Only in the carpark
Trader 3: ...of the computer shop!

It’s been a common observation amongst our traders lately…taking breakouts has def been less reliable. You might miss the explosive move but is it best to wait for retest and confirmation?
With the USD/JPY joint intervention last week getting a lot of focus, I thought this CNBC interview from a couple of months ago (after the USDJPY last got above 160) was an interesting watch. Becoming clear the levels at which the market may start to panic.

As I’ve said before, “Don’t be shit” is probably my simplest piece of trading advice.
Clearly I forgot to apply that philosophy to my Traders Edge website maintenance… 😄
I’ve just realized that the contact form has been broken since an update months ago.
If you’ve tried contacting me over the past few months and got absolutely nothing back, I owe you an apology. I only discovered this week it wasn’t delivering messages.
It’s fixed now (I hope).
There was once a trader who blamed everything but himself.
When he lost, it was the market’s fault.
When he missed a move, it was the broker’s fault.
When he over-traded, he said, “The setup looked good.”
He kept searching for new indicators, better mentors, and perfect entries —
yet nothing changed.
One day, after another losing streak, he stopped and asked himself a hard question:
“What if the problem isn’t the market? What if it’s me?”
That moment changed everything.
He realized his over-trading came from poor discipline.
His hesitation came from lack of confidence.
His losses came from weak risk management.
When he took responsibility, his results slowly turned around.
Because once you stop blaming the market and start fixing yourself —
the market starts rewarding you.
Lesson: 90% of your trading problems aren’t out there.
They’re inside you.
If you learn how to let go of trades that aren't working, it will increase your confidence as a trader.
You'll be able to trade more aggressively because you won't be afraid of losing too much on an idea that isn't working out.
