@alphatrends People focusing on Tom Lee and $BMNR right now likely have a low opinion of him, but regarding the overall market, he's the one I recall most clearly identifying this as a bull market since the 23 lows.
Cannot believe how much โthis is a bad tradeโ Iโm seeing.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion โ and it certainly isnโt good to have chose Julius Randle over Nickeil Alexander-Walker last summer โ but for me personally, Iโve been calling it the dream scenario for the Wolves to be able to painlessly dump Randleโs salary.
Moving back 5 spots in the draft to get off $33M of money you no longer want is better than I thought it was going to be.
I think the proliferation of screenshots of Randle + DiVincenzo for Kyrie Irving or Ja Morant kind of warped the view of what Randle can fetch.
The theme of the Wolves exit interviews was โwe need to get rid of our moodinessโ and DiVincenzo has a torn achilles. I think the value of Randle + DiVincenzo was proven to be wildly exaggerated by the internet.
@ChuckyyLarms@elb612@mannygibson1985@JonKrawczynski Plus, the idea that it had to be Giannis specifically is way off. They would have had the assets to get Durant without the Rudy trade, or whatever next star becomes available. This case it was Giannis but it could have been someone else, like c'mon man
@ChuckyyLarms@elb612@mannygibson1985@JonKrawczynski They didn't have space to pay him, Ant, and KAT. They chose wrong between NAW, Randle, and Naz. If they don't have Rudy, that situation doesn't even come up (assuming DLo for Conley and NAW still happens)
@elb612@mannygibson1985@JonKrawczynski Because they traded for Rudy. Had they not done that, they'd soon have KAT, and all the resources they need to get Giannis
@Clement_Ang17 I sold 10% of my MU and SNDK positions yesterday after asking ChatGPT what to do ๐ It said sell more, actually.
They were about 65% of my account so I guess it's a good idea but I trimmed a few times already and they keep going
Thanks for your response! (Good problem to have)
