Yes! Think about what a statement it is for Jadecap to say this! Arguably one of the most credible funded traders who DOES trade nq/es.
It’s ok to trade futures. It’s ok to non-exclusively trade nq/es. But, my strong opinion, is you will massively underperform your potential if you don’t gravitate to what is “in-play”.
In-Play: Silver/gold in Jan. NQ/ES during breakouts. Oil in-play this yr. Crypto futures very much in-play rn.
My bias towards equities is that you get tons of in-play securities every day w massive price discovery (think $MRNA news or semi breakouts or memory name moves… you don’t get moves like that elsewhere)
Success is not accidental.
It requires clear goals, focused effort, and intentional decisions.
When you know where you are going, every step has purpose.
The uncertainty that is trading, is an edge when understood.
It pays to be dumb and follow price.
It pays to not know if your next trade is going to be a winner, or a loser.
ALL we can do is ACCEPT the risk when we put a position, have a stop, and let the market decide.
Simple and pure, if you embrace it.
Last base $MU reported great earnings that were sold into, shook out, then rallied for 185%.
This base started from great earnings being sold into again. Now looks to be completing a 3 month base.
Round 2?
Do whatever it is you can to trade with a carefree state of mind, detached from the results and money.
One of my favorite quotes from a Chinese sage:
"When the archer shoots for no particular prize, he has all his skills; when he shoots to win a brass buckle, he is already nervous; when he shoots for a gold prize, he goes blind, sees two targets, and is out of his mind.
His skill has not changed? But the prize divided him. He cares! He thinks more of winning than of shooting, and the need to win drains him of power."
If you don’t have a side hustle in this economy, you’re virtually cooked.
The majority of people I know working a 9 to 5 are struggling financially.

If as a Ghanaian lawyer, by age 30, you qualify for the English Bar by passing SQE1 and SQE2 and you get a Masters of Corporate Law in Cambridge and get employed by a Magic Circle law firm as NQE with starting salary of £12,500 monthly (Ghc187,500), you’ll be very sorted oo 👍🏽
Good morning
Show up for yourself today. Not for the account. Not for the P&L screenshot. For you. The version of you that decided to learn this craft deserves a version of you that takes it seriously every single day. Even the boring ones.
Good luck.
I had GH₵50 and I gave you GH₵40.
You didn’t appreciate it because someone who had GH₵10,000 gave you GH₵50.
You compared my sacrifice to someone else’s surplus.
It really hurts me that my younger sister is becoming the type of girls that i dislike. She is so stupid and senseless….. ahhhhh
I wonder the kind of brain she has in the head.
The main difference between winners and losers is their mindset:
"It is totally unproductive to think the world has been unfair to you. Every tough stretch is an opportunity"
