If you're on your travels this weekend, why not seek out something different from the crowded service stations - like this gem just off the roundabout nr South Petherton on the A303. Nice grassy area for the kids to let off steam too, plus a great farm shop, The Trading Post.

@CHIMPSINSOCKS Sadly they came back that night, chucked a terracotta flower pot through the door and stole £400 of vodka… fortunately I have very good cctv and they were idiots….picked up by the police the next day
@CHIMPSINSOCKS We were watching a couple of shoplifters decide which vodka they were going to steal from us. When we offered them a basket to use rather than the ‘bag for life’ they were planning on using - they got very huffy and announced ‘well we won’t bother today then’
