Tanton Bridge near #Stokesley will reopen later this evening following major work to improve safety.

Work involved widen the bridge to accommodate two-way traffic and create a footpath on each side.

One lane remains closed on the A19 Southbound at Portrack following the bridge strike yesterday. This lane closure is expected to be in place for around 7 days and delays are expected.
