One month ago I launched NORMIE UNIVERSITY. Today it's a different protocol.

At launch, the pitch was simple:
a school where your awakened Normie buys verifiable skill modules and earns Soulbound credentials.
People liked the idea.
Then the hard questions came:
"how is reputation not fakeable?",
"what happens when I sell my Normie?",
"why would an agent trust your oracle?"

So we spent the month answering every one of them on-chain. Here's where we are.

🧬 Your Normie's education now FOLLOWS the NFT.
This is the big one. A Normie is the agent, so its skills and reputation can't live in a wallet you happen to use.
Credentials now bind to the Normie's ERC-8004 identity, where controllerOf = ownerOf.
Sell the Normie → its entire education transfers to the buyer, atomically, the same block.
I proved it end-to-end on-chain: minted a test Normie, earned a skill onto it, transferred it, the skill moved with it. A trained Normie is now a more valuable Normie.

🗣️ You talk to it in plain English.
The Agent Console turns "stake 1 ETH on Lido" or "earn yield on 1000 USDC" into a certified skill, builds the exact transaction, simulates it with eth_call before you sign, shows you the best-rate edge vs. alternatives, and lets you sign non-custodially.
No scripting. The agent acts;
you stay in control of the key.

🛡️ Reputation that's hard to fake AND actually means something. Two upgrades.
1. Score now scales with the size of the on-chain action, dust transactions score ~45, real ones ≥90. You can't grind reputation with a thousand 1-cent txs.
2. Reputation favors NFT-bound agents:
1 Normie = 1 scarce identity = anti-sybil by construction. And any protocol can read that score trustlessly via SkillGate (~25k gas) to gate a vote, a pool, an allowlist.

🤝 We don't run a parallel registry, I build ON the official one.
The Normies API exposes its own ERC-8004 agent registry and rarity index.
NU now sources binding, agent-cards, metadata and rarity straight from the canonical Normies endpoints.
Profiles show official rank, rarity score, fair value, type floor. On mainnet, identity defers to the official Normies registry, not a clone.
We're a layer on the community, not next to it.

✅ The boring proof that makes the above credible.

- 212 Foundry tests passing;
- Chain-aware, spec-driven, fail-closed oracle:
a skill that declares no verifiable target is never auto-passed, it routes to review;
- Completion signatures carry a deadline + single-use nonce (anti-stale, anti-replay);
- 2-of-2 anchor checkpoints, no single key can forge a credential;
- Multi-chain skills: Ethereum L1 + Base + Optimism
- A live ops pulse at /api/health (RPC, relayer gas, IPFS)

The honest part:
this is the hackathon build on Sepolia testnet, with test USDC. No real funds, no agent at risk.
Mainnet needs a secured admin multisig and an audited skill-module pass, and I say exactly that in the README, not in the fine print.
Trust comes from being transparent about the gaps, not pretending there aren't any.

Where this goes:
a static 40×40 pixel identity → a trained, transferable, reputation-bearing agent that acts on-chain in plain English. NORMIE UNIVERSITY is the Skills Layer, the missing piece between "an agent exists" and "an agent has proven, portable capability."

A month ago it was a good idea.
