Most hitters, coaches or parents buy one training bat and think that's development.
Each of these has a different purpose.
So the move isn't grabbing all 1 or all 4
It's knowing which one develops what's actually breaking down in your swing. And how to use it.

“I freaking love those bats. Teaching you how to deliver the barrel and catch it flush, not underneath” - Todd Butler
Everyone reads that checklist on slide 10 and skips right past #1.
Swing at pitches you can handle and on time.
Sounds basic. It’s the whole thing.
Here’s what happens in a slump.
You go 0 for 4 and your brain starts hunting.
You want a hit so bad you start swinging at pitches you’d normally take.
Balls off the plate. Stuff out of the zone. You expand because you’re trying to force it. 👎🏼
Now you’re 1 for 9. The swing’s fine.
The decisions and pressure get out of whack.
The hitters I train learn to shrink the zone when it gets hard.
They wait for a pitch they can drive and let the rest go. That’s control. Not get more wild.
You CAN train it.
Front toss + focusing on timing and good pitches to drive.
(Not swinging at everything and just trying to hit it, that’s not the goal)
Then take it in the box. See a strike and be on time to hit, let it rip. See a ball, let it go.
Save this and train the checklist on slide 10.
Send it to a hitter chasing, spiraling and searching.
And make sure you’re following for complete hitting development.
Her wrists were turning over before contact instead of through it. Barrel gets on top of the ball, ball dies on the ground, and the average goes with it. 👎🏼
The half bat exposes it in one swing. Feedback in after one rep, instead of a week.
What you can do:
Film one round with the half bat and one with your gamer and check if the barrel is staying square longer.

There are a lot of gimmicks out there when it comes to baseball or softball training aids. The @TrainingBats half bat is no gimmick. It’s literally a cheat code for swing path. And all you have to do is go hit with it.
I sent this to every hitter I train. (You should do the same.)
It's a phenomenal example of what it actually takes and what it looks like.
Watch it. Save it. Send it to your hitters.
We focus on and challenge ourselves every day on how to create the best hitting products possible
To help hitters have:
• A more consistent path
• More consistent quality contact
• More power production
• Score more runs and win more games
The new @TrainingBats half bat 2.0. We’ve had the original for about 3 years — still going strong. We’ve hit the @MarvTraining baseballs and softballs with it for years. Softball is a little heavier so the 2.0 will absorb that collision out of the machine even better. 💪🤙🥎⚾️
