The energy, the words, the creativity… ✨

On Saturday 28th, we had the honor of being part of the Aga Khan Poetry Café at Aga Khan High School Kampala.

We proudly sponsored a cup of coffee , adding warmth to an atmosphere filled with powerful poetry, expression, and connection.

Students from different schools came through — from Bethel Preparatory School, Croatian International School, Aga Khan High School, and many more — all bringing their voices, talent, and unique stories to the stage.

It’s always inspiring to witness young minds express themselves so boldly and beautifully. This annual event continues to be a true celebration of creativity and community.

We loved every moment of it.
See you in the next edition. 🎤☕

An unforgettable night of elegance, celebration, and timeless memories ✨

We were honored to be part of the PROM edition for the Class of 2026 A’ Level at St Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK).

From the energy to the atmosphere, everything spoke excellence — and we were proud to complement it by brewing elegant cups of coffee ☕ that elevated the experience and added warmth to every moment shared.

At Nostalgic Coffee Limited (NCL), we believe coffee is more than a drink — it’s a feeling, a connection, and a memory in the making. Being part of such a milestone celebration reminded us why we do what we do.

To the Class of 2026 — this is just the beginning.
To SMACK — thank you for trusting us to be part of your special night.

We look forward to many more moments together.

The Espresso Philosophy at Cafe Javas, led by Victoria Aduino and featuring the National Barista Champion, was more than an event — it was a statement.

A statement that Uganda’s youth are stepping boldly into the coffee space.
A statement that knowledge, craft, and community are shaping a new coffee culture.
A statement that Ugandan coffee is not optional — it’s essential.

From extraction theory to sensory precision, from bar flow to storytelling — this is just the beginning of youth-led coffee gatherings in Uganda. We are not just coming — we are coming big, and bigger.

At the CQI PHP for Fine Robusta, we explored three fermentation approaches—piled-up, yeast inoculation, and underwater—to unlock greater yield potential and elevate cup quality. Guided by @fsebatigita and supported by @internationaltradecentre #MARKUP II with funding from the @euinuganda European , the focus remains clear: precision processing for superior Fine Robusta results. Nostalgic Coffee Limited runs a youth-skilling programme that equips creative young people with practical, market-ready competencies across the coffee value chain — barista skills, coffee roasting, cupping and cup evaluation, hospitality, coffee trading and risk & market analysis, plus essential AI and management skills. The courses combine hands-on practice, industry-standard assessment and business literacy so graduates can work in cafés, roasting labs, supply chains or start their own ventures. Skilling youth is described as one of the organisation’s most rewarding achievements: it strengthens individual livelihoods while feeding talent and innovation into the broader youth economy.

Small Wins. Big Progress. ☕✨
A 2025 Reflection by Nostalgic Coffee Limited

2025 was a year of intentional growth, learning, and meaningful collaboration for Nostalgic Coffee Limited. Through strategic trainings with ITC, we strengthened our export readiness, digital presence, and inclusive business practices. Our journey was amplified by impactful events such as Brush & Cinema, BEB, Youth Annual Engagements, Ye! Rise Night, corporate brewing experiences, and coffee visitation days that connected communities, creatives, and professionals through coffee.

We are grateful for the trust and collaboration of our partners and collaborators who made this possible: International Trade Centre (ITC), Community Women’s Enterprise Network (CWEN), CURAD, The Solidarity Education Fund, Gayaza High School, Scoris International School Uganda, Aga Khan High School, Mt. St. Mary’s College Namagunga, alongside our social campaign partners NINA Music, KIMCO Coffee, UMBER Coffee, JOVAM Coffee, CWEN, and Bandera Farmers Network International.

From launching new NCL products to reaching markets in Qatar, China, Finland, USA, Germany, Kenya, and South Africa, these milestones may be small wins—but together, they form a strong foundation for greater impact ahead as we step into 2026: Coffee for Education.
