So, the plan is... a clock.

An n-gauge line around the outside of a room, with a train stopping into a central station every 5 minutes.

Each train will carry a sequence of freight vans with numbers painted on the side.

The numbers will show the time & date.

Child #1 (<10yo) has downloaded and installed @Raspberry_Pi OS to an SDC, added a few configs (for WiFi & ssh) and booted her first box.

nmap'd to find it.
ssh'ed in.
shutdown to end.

PPS. Going to try and code this in something like @vuejs and #opensource everything. First task is to build a DCC controller from bits and a @Raspberry_Pi + @arduino... 🤯
