@ArtCandee Unfortunately I can’t post a pic of myself publicly… I work in a VERY right wing industry. If my support of Kamala got out my career could very well be over
@MeliMels99 I voted early but a female friend of mine in Pennsylvania is voting in-person tomorrow.
I encouraged her to vote early but she said “I want the satisfaction of walking into a polling booth on election day and voting against him in person.”
@ZoetropeG@Amy_Siskind@NicolleDWallace Basically pollsters are so afraid of another big miss that they are intentionally skewing things so that they can be plausibly non-committal and restore faith in them.
But since Selzer hasn’t had the same big misses everyone else has had, she doesn’t have to play that game.
@ZoetropeG@Amy_Siskind@NicolleDWallace The conventional wisdom is “poll herding”. Polls missed in 2016, 2020, 2022 and people are losing faith on pollsters. So pollsters are weighting polls in such a way to make them look even, then hedging by saying “a normal polling error can push this in one direction or the other”
@gelliottmorris Faith in polls and polling aggregators is dubious at best right now — despite the perpetual hedge of "a normal polling error could mean..."
If Selzer is right, while everyone else is wrong, I don’t think we will ever trust the polling industry again.
@DecodingFoxNews@AntiToxicPeople The contrast is amazing these last few days…
Trump is hunched over, he mumbles, rambles, sounds exhausted and weak. A bitter, tired and broken man.
Meanwhile Kamala Harris is standing tall, smiling, full of life and energy. She projects confidence, energy and strength.
@jakefromgeorgia@OleanderNectar If we really wanna go down the road of candidates canceling events in the home stretch Trump is gonna take the prize on that one. He has cancelled a ton of appearances in recents weeks.
@ArtCandee Providing the election goes our way I only want to hear his name three more times…
The start of his 1/6 trial
The conviction at his 1/6 trial
His obituary
