Final day unfortunately for year 5 @RealRobinwood it’s been a blast and the children have pushed themselves in all areas, whilst also being a credit to the school.
Day 2: an incredible effort from all the children. Smashing their way out of their comfort zones. Extremely proud of hearing how polite and supportive Tranby children are.
Year 3 are Jubilee ready!
Following our research work in school we are experts on the Queen and forthcoming Jubilee. Thank you Year 3 for all your hard work and thank you too to her Majesty the Queen for all her years of service.
And finally, Day 3 @RealRobinwood : dungeon, giant swing and rock climbing. Year 5 have been a credit to the Tranby name. We couldn’t be more proud. Well done.
Day 2 @RealRobinwood: archery, caving, nightline, piranha pool (!!!), zip wire and crate challenge. We have never seen so much teamwork, moral support and fear conquering. Well done year 5

amazing bravery, determination and resilience. More to follow…
The children in Year 5 have been learning how to create prints inspired by the Victorian Artist William Morris. They had a lot of fun learning about the printmaking process, creating their own repeating designs.
A very happy U9 team after their fixture at Pocklington School. Thank-you Pocklington for hosting such a lovely game of netball. Well done to all players, and to POTM - Hettie. @Tranby_school
The final was a tough match with excellent performances from both teams and after a 1 – 1 draw at full time it went on to a nail biting penalty shootout. Two cracking saves from our keeper and two phenomenal goals for us meant victory was ours. Well done boys!
Well done to our Year 4 football team who won the Pocklington Prep School U9s five-a-side Football Festival today against 8 other schools. They won their first 3 qualifying matches 6-0, 5-0 and 4-1 and went on to play brilliantly in the semi-final where they won 4-0.
Well done to Yasmin - despite being in pain with her injured arm, she spent much time at the weekend volunteering to help sort out bags of donations for #Ukraine@Tranby_school#RSE
