The labor of Black trans women matters. Valuing Black trans women's lives necessitates providing a living wage. "Stipends" and "internships" for Black trans women in poverty only perpetuates subsistence, exploitation and oppression.

When the Allies cleared the concentration camps in WWII, they did not liberate the homosexuals (a broad category of gay men, trans women, and effeminate men - afab ppl were criminalized separately) bc they were still considered criminals and sent them to jails instead.
