Why does the media only discuss members of the Trans community who have enough economic resources to fully transition? Doesn't that show how our society still relies on the stereotypical concept of a gender binary and invalidates those who don't conform?

The media mainly represents the #Trans* community in a selective way (portraying people who transition between the binary genders.) The #truth is; it refers to anyone who doesn't identify with the gender they were assigned at birth.
