@jmarshfof He’s arguing for literal insanity at this point. We tried it his way and it’s failed time to try something closer to what every other country does. But that won’t happen cause the reality is US soccer is rotten from the top down we learned that during the Berhalter saga.
@HunterHodies Yeah that was pathetic to watch. What happened to our teams of the 00s and 10s that showed up looking for a fight? We’ve gotten more skilled but have lost all the heart & grit that made the team successful to begin with. This squad is mentally weak and cannot rise to the moment.
@TomMarsLaw You know who it is Cody Campbell. He’s selling TTU to athletes by showing he’ll foot the legal bills even when you can no longer play there. It’s simple human relations to gain trust and show you’re different. It’s really not that hard to connect the dots.
@DevaronPerry I think the older vets from those squads resent him for demanding a trade. I get it if that’s the case it’s unfortunate but I can see how that whole situation burned some bridges.
@HunterHodies Same here after all their previous failures I didn’t take them seriously as cup threats, but they were the best team in the playoffs and it wasn’t all that close. Awesome to see Staal get the Conn Smythe too.
@AriWasserman This ain’t true because y’all ignore the G6 completely. The only reason this is a big deal to you is because it involves a bigger conference. You don’t have to lie to prove your point next time just use the number of schools from the bigger conferences.
Texas Tech and mega-booster Cody Campbell have agency in the Brendan Sorsby mess. They could cut him loose and tell him he can’t play for them.
Instead, they’d rather embarrass themselves.

@LandonTengwall@jemelehill It’s like people don’t get that collective bargaining happens when the workers form a union to protect them from their employer. In this situation the worker can just run to a favorable just and get their preferred outcome. They have all the leverage and no reason to give it up.
@BruceFeldmanCFB The athletes are willing to burn down the sport as long as they personally get to benefit. This is a product of everyone wanting to get revenge on the NCAA instead of actually trying creating something better for college football.
Yeah if the courts don’t overturn this Sirsby thing CFB is officially cocked. Everyone will blame the NCAA who for sure played a part. But it’s the athletes, boosters, lawyers, and crooked judges that truly killed the sport.
@RossDellenger When are y'all going to tell him that would be antitrust violation? People keep saying this like it's a viable option when it simply isn't. The rest of the FBS would sue and it would get dismantled by the courts.
@PeterBurnsESPN It’s been too late. There is no world where the athletes would give up all the power they have now for “benefits”. Why give up your ability to leave at any time for more money just for medical coverage from a sport most of them won’t play past the age 23?
@AndyStaples They can’t “break away” anyhow this whole conversation is nonsense. We’ve seen this exact thing before in the 90s when some of the major conferences came together to create the Bowl Alliance which failed because it violated anti trust law just like a super league would.
