#YMM Please do what you can to keep your family, friends and co-workers safe. Limit close contact, wash your hands, wear a mask and follow all public health orders. #RMWB
#RMWB#YMM have you had to call 911 for an ambulance since January 19, 2021? Email [email protected] or call the Pulse line with your experiences. We still want to hear from you! We continue to monitor the transition of ambulance dispatch very closely.
"I challenge the province to remove me. They've had nothing but tunnel vision. Albertans can remove them as a government. They'd better keep that in mind."
🔥🔥🔥 from #YMM Mayor @DonaldKScott & @ymmFireChief re: 911 dispatch on #RealTalkRJ.

When a leader loses "the room" as in the province, it is a series of decisions+actions that erode trust+ confidence. #leadershiplessons are clear including collaboration, need for change, integrity, and a shared vision. Without those, positional power is likely to be short-lived
The motion introduced by Mayor Scott reads: THAT the Municipality provide notice to Alberta Health Services that the RMWB 911 Emergency Communications Centre will no longer transfer the 911 calls to the AHS Provincial Dispatch Centre. #ymm#rmwb
This one line from today’s @ryanjespersen sums up how I feel exactly. This is not a normal response from a government. It’s not okay. Albertans deserve better. #ableg
“May it never lose its significance that the mayor of a city is saying publicly that the health minister has his head in the sand and has the whole time. Let it never become normal that the Alberta government is fighting with almost everybody...” @ryanjespersen#RealTalkRJ 1/
Thanks @ryanjespersen for your continued coverage on the UCP government’s calamity of a plan to remove ambulance dispatch from #rmwb - & thanks to Anzac Volunteer Fire Captain, Julie Stewart for joining me today as we spoke against this reckless decision:
