@airports_hotels Problem is Gare du Nord is a grotty area. My wife felt intimidated walking around the area with me from all the men hanging around on street corners on a June evening. Gare du Lyon by contrast was different. This is mentioned in my 'train to Spain' blog https://t.co/Kv1sPirvLG

@J50Claret @Chippywarner @MartinSLewis @Barclays Agree with you both to an extent. Where customers were sold it without knowledge or sold it when ineligible this is clearly wrong. But a claim culture has built up where people are wanting to have their cake and eat it (having cover in place then claim it all back plus interest)

@TravelLeisure Interesting article and similar here in the Uk. Booked a NYE flight to Lanzarote the second flights came out and paid £400. Two hours later price doubled and a week later was £1100 (4 people) Checked a few days ago and back down under £800. Thanks for retweet of blog by the way!
