🚨 Breaking News | Rajasthan High Court quashed all the orders issued by PHED, ruling in favor of VPRPL.
✍️ #VPRPL filed civil writ petitions against several orders issued by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of Rajasthan.
✍️ These orders involved the forfeiture of bid security and debarment of the company for six months from participating in future bids for specific projects.
✍️ Parties Involved:
Petitioner: Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Limited.
Respondents: PHED Rajasthan, Punjab National Bank, and Bank of Baroda (Jodhpur branches).
✍️ Nature of the Dispute:
a. The PHED issued orders in June 2024 (on various dates) to forfeit VPRPL’s bid security and bar them from participating in future tenders for six months.
b. VPRPL argued that these orders were illegal and violated the Rajasthan Public Procurement Act.

a. The company challenged the PHED's orders in the Hon’ble Rajasthan High Court at Jodhpur.
b. On July 3, 2024, the High Court stayed the PHED's orders, providing temporary relief to the company.

On December 13, 2024, the Rajasthan High Court quashed all the orders issued by PHED, ruling in favor of VPRPL.
