Vanderbilt deserves more serious consideration than Miami for an at-large bid.
Both are 10-2, but Vandy did it in the SEC. Miami has the Notre Dame win.
However, Vandy’s two losses were both on the road to ranked teams.
Strength of schedule matters.
And hey, Mike says he knows how to fix it, so people should just trust him, right? I can’t wait to see all the excitement this offseason leading into 26.
FSU admin’s decision to keep Mike should really have fans fired up going into 26. I mean, tonight didn’t go well, but if he had just beaten his chest a little more, that could’ve been the difference. They just needed to play with more heart.
Mike Norvell will return as Florida State’s coach in 2026, sources tell @YahooSports.
The university president, AD and board are aligned in support of Norvell, who has pledged to make changes in areas of recruiting and player evaluation to enhance FSU’s roster.
By next Saturday, it will have been over two years since Florida State won a road game.
And if the Seminoles lose to Florida, which seems entirely possible (maybe even likely?) that drought will surpass 1,000 days.
