"We were thrilled to be part of the Open House at Paracelsus Medical University on March 14, 2025! With over 500 students in attendance, the event highlighted the strong public interest in the innovative work being done at PMU. Thank you to everyone who joined us!"
As Traweger Lab, we were delighted to share our research at the 19th Annual Meeting of the Austrian Cluster for Tissue Regeneration.
It was a huge pleasure to share hashtag#science and our tendon research with all of you!!"
Christine Lehner from our group had a great time in Liverpool at Prof. Mandy Peffers’ lab!During her short-term scientific mission (STSM) from the 15th to 22nd of February as part of the TENET COST Action, Mandy’s team showed her how to process tendon samples for LS-MS/MS.

Congratulations to Bettina on this great achievement! Next stop: PhD defense…..
Mark your calendar for the symposium Advances in TENDON and LIGAMENT REGENERATION taking place in Freiburg. Submit your abstracts until November 15th, 2025 and be a part of this exciting symposium at TERMIS-EU 2025 https://t.co/Owyg23liDS, @DakinLabGroup, @EuTermis, @TermisEU2025
Great experience at the MBE conference in Lyon/France for members of the Traweger lab (talk-Renate Gehwolf and poster-Nevra Pelin CESUR)! The MBE conference is bringing together experts from various fields, and creating an inspiring atmosphere for young researchers.
We were thrilled to participate in the “Lange Nacht der Forschung” at the Paracelsus Medical University on May 24, 2024. With over 1,600 visitors, it was the biggest LNF attraction in Salzburg and a complete success!

(TERMIS) Winterschool in Radstadt/Salzburg Extracellular Vesicles session, Andreas Traweger presented his study titled "Application of MSC-EVs to Promote Tendon and Bone Repair." Additionally, our PhD student, Nevra PelinCesur, delivered a poster presentation.
Act quickly! If your research focuses on biofabrication, regeneration, biomechanics, biology, and the healing/regeneration of tendons, ligaments, enthesis, and myotendinous junction, be sure to submit them to the relevant symposium/session.
The manuscript Summary submission deadline is February 15th 2024 and the Manuscript submission deadline is June 15th 2024. For more information; Effect of Mechanical Loading on the Tendon for Tissue Engineering Approaches | Frontiers Research Topic (https://t.co/wCvT4mGTLX).
Yesterday was the official Kick OFF of the COST Action “TEndon Regeneration NETwork” – TENET (CA22170), which is led by Manuela Gomes from 3Bs. It is a great pleasure to be a member of the managing committee of this fantastic scientific network of tendon research excellence!
